I am so glad they started the Delta Flights at Tweed Airport in New Haven!
These are directions on how simple it is to get to Tweed Airport.
Just don't make the same mistake we did turning the wrong way.
Here's a picture of the Tweed Airport departure area. Tweed Airport in New Haven is a small airport, and we didn't have to drive to Bradley, TL Green Airport or Kennedy to pick up my mother and sisters. How convenient is that? Real convenient!!!
Let me give you a tip.
The Parking Meter lot is a quarter for 10
min.
The Daily Parking is $2.00 a half hour with the first half hour
free.
The Extended Parking lot is $1.50 a half hour, with the first
half hour free.
Driving Directions:
From I95 west take the Q Bridge, which is the Pearl Harbor Bridge, and Exit 50, Woodward Dr. You'll see signs for Tweed New Haven Airport, and Lighthouse Point Park. At the end of the exit, go straight through to the second stoplight and make a right. Follow this street all the way to Fort Hale Road and make a left. Follow this road till it deadends, then make a right.
