CT DMV Locations

Everytime we turn around we have to go to a CT DMV, so we made a list of where they are located here in Connecticut, and more importantly, directions how to get there. In Connecticut it seems like it doesn't matter which DMV you go to, you're not limited to just the one in your area.

If you haven't realized it by now, none of the DMV's have phone numbers, they have a Central Telephone Center that has a recording. So if you need information other than what is on the recording, you have to go visit a DMV.

Telephone Center hours with operators on duty are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Thursday - 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday - 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Telephone Center number is: 860-263-5700 (Within Hartford area or outside of Connecticut) 800-842-8222 (Elsewhere in Connecticut).
