Winsted CT DMV Satellite Office

The Winsted CT DMV Satellite Office have been set up for your convenience.

The Satellite Office does a little more than the Photo Centers, but just like the Photo Centers, they are only open a couple days a week.

To renew your Connecticut driver's license.

Bring the Photo License Renewal Form (unsigned) that you got in the mail, and your current photo license. The fee for your new license will be printed on the Renewal Form.

If you haven't realized it by now, none of the DMV's have phone numbers, they have a Central Telephone Center that has a recording.

So if you need information other than what is on the recording, you have to go to the DMV.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

Route 44 East:
Follow Route 44 East through downtown Winsted. Turn right at the first traffic light after Saint James Episcopal Church. Dept. is approximately two miles on the left.Route 44 West:
Follow Route 44 West into Winsted. Turn left at the traffic light at Dairy Queen. The Dept. is approximately two miles on the left

Route 8 South:
Take exit 46 (Pine Woods Rd). Turn right off the exit to the stop sign. Turn right at the next stop sign.
The Dept. is on the right.

Route 8 North:
Take exit 46 (Pine Woods Road). Turn left off the exit to a stop sign. Turn right. The Dept. is on the right. See Map
