The Willimantic DMV Satellite Office does license renewals, duplicate licenses, name changes and more.
But keep in mind they are only open three days a week.
The amazing thing is how much easier they have made it for us when we purchase a car.
All you need is your driver's license, the title, a car insurance card, and a bill of sale to get the registration and plates.
That's a whole lot different then it was several years ago.
If you need to renew your Connecticut driver's license. Bring the Photo License Renewal Form that you got in the mail (unsigned), and your current driver's license. The fee for your new license will be printed on the Renewal Form.
If you haven't realized it by now,
none of the DMV's have phone numbers, they have a Central Telephone Center that
has a recording. So if you need information other than what is on the recording,
you have to go to the DMV.

Follow Route 66 (Willimantic Road/Columbia Avenue).
Take a left onto
Route 32.
Traveling Routes 66 and 32:
Follow Routes 66 and 32
through Willimantic center.
Bear right, remaining on Route 32 which is Main
St.
The Dept. is approximately one-fourth of a mile on the right.
Traveling
Route 32 South:
Follow Route 32 south.
Continue past Route 6/66 overpass.
The Dept. is one mile on the left
