Last Minute Travel
to Cape Cod MA

Yep, that's what we did. At the very last minute we decided to travel to Cape Cod MA.

Not only did we want to travel to Cape Cod, we also wanted to go all the way to the tip of Cape Cod, where Provincetown is at.

We had never been there before, and had no idea what was there.

So this picture below is the first thing you see when you enter Cape Cod.

Welcome to Cape Cod MA

We left on our motorcycle about 9:30 in the morning, and just got up and left. We didn't make any reservations at all, and I must say, we did luck out finding a place to stay. So on these pages, we're going to give you some tips for your last minute travel.

For one thing, it is hard for us to try to plan a vacation to travel somewhere for a week, because we are self employed. So maybe there are other Internet land people that like to travel at the last minute too. We just all of a sudden see that we have the weekend free, and we get up and go.

Tip of Cape Cod

This picture is looking is towards the tip of Cape Cod, taken from the top of the Pilgrim Tower.

So to start, let me tell you the route we took on our last minute trip. We live in Connecticut, so we took Interstate 95 all the way to Exit 3a RI which takes you to the Newport Bridge via Narragansett. We followed Hwy 138 all the way past Newport and Middletown, jumped on MA Interstate 195, over the Bourne Bridge, and followed Hwy 28 South, all along the shoreline, till we reached Hwy 6, and took it north to the tip of Cape Cod.
