Why do we have a list of Seafood Restaurants in Connecticut?
If we had a choice of going to a steak house or eating seafood, we would go for the seafood every time.
Living in New England has it's benefits. Seafood is really big around here.
The seafood restaurants are usually located in places that are scenic too.
My husband likes to get lobster, and I like the already shelled crab dishes myself. At the bottom of the page is a list of Connecticut Clam Shacks.
New England Clam Chowder
Once
when we went to a restaurant, and I ordered clam chowder, and the waitress said,
"What kind of chowder would you like?" I said, "What kind of chowder
do you have?" And she said, "We have red, white, and clear." I
ordered the white, because it is my favorite. The red clam chowder, is the Manhattan
Style, and the clear clam chowder is a Rhode Island style.
Fisherman's Platter
Sometimes we share a Fisherman's Platter which has a variety of fried seafood plus French fries, and we love large fried scallops. The main thing to remember is not to over order, because portions are usually large. We have a tendency to order too much, and then we can't eat it all.
